Outreach
One of the primary goals of the study of behavior is to improve the quality of mental health for the broader community. The diverse expertise of Psychology Department faculty and staff has allowed us to become involved in the local community in various ways. On this site, under the research menu above you will find summaries of recent events in which we partnered with community groups to make new discoveries and share knowledge.
Services
Clinical Services - Therapy and Assessment
In addition, through our departmental Psychological Services and Training Center (The Clinic) we provide psychotherapy and psychological assessment to residents of the Seattle metropolitan area, including University of Washington students and their families. Services are provided by doctoral students in clinical psychology who receive training and supervision by licensed psychologists in The Clinic.
