Animal Behavior

Research

My work involves extensive international collaboration in a number of habitat countries including Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, China, Bangladesh, and Singapore. My research group engages in a variety of primate-related field and laboratory studies involving population surveys, behavioral ecology, reproductive biology, and bi-directional pathogen transmission between human and non-human primates (with Dr. Lisa Jones-Engel). We also have a strong collaboration relationship with the Woodland Park Zoo and the International Snow Leopard Trust with collaborative projects focusing on a number of other species such as sun bears and snow leopards.
