Information for prospective graduate studies applicants
Admissions for 2009 Autumn entry into the Psychology Graduate Program will open in mid-September 2008.
Please visit us again in September 2008 for updated materials and instructions on applying for entry in Autumn 2009. Please do not apply earlier than this. For 2009 admissions, we will no longer accept paper application materials, except for your official transcripts. Everything else, such as your written statements, letters of recommendation, and our supplemental form will only be accepted online, as uploaded into your online UW Graduate School Application. We will only accept your official, unopened paper transcripts via postal service mail. Please consider this information as you plan for your application to our program.
Our application postmark deadline always falls on December 15. Please mark your calendars for Monday, December 15, 2008!
The Psychology Department application deadline for the 2009-2010 academic year is December 15, 2008.

- 2008-2009 Application Newsletter: (revised: 3/4/08) This is a guide to our application process, a highly recommended download. It explains each component of our application, along with deadlines, and mailing information.
- UW Graduate School Application: All applicants to a UW Graduate Program must complete this online application and submit the application fee. The online application now accepts uploaded application materials (as listed in the Application Newsletter).
- 2009-2010 Application Checklist: (revised 8/26/08) The checklist is for both U.S. and International Applicants. Steps 1 and 2 are for U.S. applicants while International applicants are required to complete Steps 1, 2, and 3. This is an optional download, but it is helpful to see a list of the application materials.
