Short Project Description
In this study we will be investigating the sexual health of Mexican American men through qualitative interviews and focus groups. The purpose of the study is to help us create culturally sensitive and effective HIV/AIDS prevention programs for Latino populations. Research Assistants must be fluent in Spanish. Duties of 499s will include transcription of interviews (data entry and coding), conduct interviews and/or focus groups, and assist with the recruitment and screening of interviews. Research assistants will also participate in weekly lab meetings which will emphasize career development for undergraduate psychology students (including, resume writing, applying to grad school, job interviews, etc.).
