Short Project Description

The Behavioral Research & Therapy Clinics (BRTC) specializes in developing treatments for highly-suicidal, multi-disordered clients. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has been developed for people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Dependence, Eating Disorders, and/or a variety of other problems. We are currently running a small business innovation grant in collaboration with Behavioral Tech LLC intended to improve dissemination and fidelity of the DBT therapy delivered in the community. Students who will be involved in this project will learn about the therapy, get training in DBT skills, as well as get involved in the research behind this project and other research currently ongoing in the lab. In the past, students have found their work here to be very stimulating. **Those interested in signing up for Psych 499 should email their resume and a paragraph describing their interest to Andrada Neacsiu.
