Short Project Description

The Study and Travel Abroad Research project involves a longitudinal online personalized feedback intervention study designed to encourage safe and responsible decisions about alcohol use among college students studying abroad in foreign countries. Student research assistants will help design and construct intervention content, co-facilitate focus groups with students, aid in participant recruitment and retention, assist with data collection and entry, and assist in the writing of manuscripts and presentations from the obtained data.

Times a student must bepresent/work: TBA. Student will attend a weekly 499 meeting in Dr. Larimer’s lab.
Student commitment: 2+ quarters (fall, winter, and spring). 1 quarter during the Spring of 2010 may be a possibility.

Skills / Experience Preferred

There are no prerequisites for 2+ quarter commitments, though basic Excel/SPSS familiarity is helpful but not required. **Interview required for this 499 position**
