Jeansok Kim just received a 12-month grant from the UW Royalty Research Fund for his work titled: Real-time Monitoring of How Stress Alters Hippocampal Neuronal Activities. Understanding the progression of stress effects on hippocampal neurons will fill a fundamental gap in knowledge, predict new results and lead to novel insights to stress-related psychopathologies.
