August 30, 2021: Admissions for 2022 is now open! Please download the materials listed below as you proceed with your PhD application for consideration of entrance in late September 2022. Applications are due from everyone on December 1, 2021.
July 14, 2021: For 2022 admissions, we WILL accept the IELTS again for our international applicants who need to provide language proficiency. This is a new decision from today and will be updated on our website pages accordingly in the weeks to come.
June 22, 2021: We will continue to NOT require the GRE for admissions 2022. We will be updating our materials and processes for 2022 with intent to publish during August 2021. Please check back here then!

- Admissions Application Newsletter: This is a guide to our application process, a required download. It explains each component of our application.
- UW Graduate School Application: All applicants to a UW graduate program must complete this online application and submit the application fee. You will be required to upload all of your application into this online process. Deadline: December 1, 2020.
- Application Checklist: The checklist is for both U.S. and International Applicants.
- Admissions Statistics Brochure: This brochure contains GPA statistics for our past 3 incoming cohorts, along with diversity recruiting information.
